Halloween weekend was quite busy for us. One of the Y.M. from our old ward was going to go through the Manti Temple on Saturday and we were trying to find out the time and so we called our old Bishop, who informed us that the Ward Trunk-or-Treat was that night, Friday. So of course we just had to go crash it. It was great to see everyone again and get a little caught up on life. The next morning we headed down to Manti, we dropped the kids off at Carlos and Amanda's in Spanish Fork, and had an enjoyable ride down. It was so wonderful to be there for C.J., especially since he was one of David's Y.M. when we was Young Men's President. We are so excited for him to go on a mission! After the temple we went up to Mt. Pleasant to visit a couple that had also lived in the old ward before we all moved. I had served with Marci in the Y.W.'s and she had just had a sweet little baby girl, so since we were down that way we definitely had to stop by! It was so great to visit with them and hold darling Jazmin! Thanks again for lunch you guys! We then took the northern route back home, picked up the kids, who had the time of their lives, and headed home in time to Trick-or-Treat around the neighborhood.
The next morning, Sunday, we headed up to Logan to be with Ryan and Jenna while they blessed sweet little Ava. Great Blessing, Great Company, Great Food, what more can you ask for. Then home again, it was quite the trip for the weekend, but just wait till you hear about the next weekend.....That post will definitely have pictures!
