We love Dirt

In preparation for the garden this year, we ordered 14 yards of 50/50 mix of manure and topsoil. This picture was from a while ago so now we've filled the planter boxes we have and have planted peas and onions. We have cucumbers, tomato, bell pepper, cantaloupe, basil, rosemary, thyme all started indoors. We will also do some carrots and beans.
Can you smell that pile? Man it was sooo good (others would disagree)
I have some great helpers. They love the dirt too.

The kid efforts....
Another big thanks to Bob, our neighbor, he helped move a lot of this dirt as well!

That's awesome! I love the pic of the pile on your driveway, and the kids playing in it! That's so cool that you are growing a garden!

Wow, that's cool. Where did you get that kind of dirt mix? Last year we shoveled manure on to our garden then tilled it in, but if it came mixed that would be so much easier! :) You are way ahead of us this year!

That's totally funny. It will be nice when their help really makes a dent in the job that needs to be done:)
